Community Profiles
This summer (2010) EQUIP released the results of the 2009 Community Profiles surveys. In this latest round EQUIP partnered with Child Care Choices of Boston to reach out to 100% of licensed center-based and Head Start programs, family child care homes and public schools in Boston. The data was presented at a Data Forum at the Boston Children's Museum on June 29, 2010. The Powerpoint slide presentation, full-color executive summary, and report on the 2009 Community Profiles surveys are all available on our website. Just click on Community Profiles to get there. Below are the response rates to the surveys.

Data and Research Team (DART)

Boston Quality Inventory
Boston EQUIP is working with Wellesley Centers for Women to update the fact-based understanding of the quality of Boston’s community-based early care and education centers and family child care. These data, coupled with the unique information supplied through the Community Profiles surveys, will provide a comprehensive picture of Boston’s early care and education to improve the strength, quality, and effectiveness of the field serving the young children of Boston.
